Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Jeddah Airport – Al-Balad – Bait Matbouli – Jeddah
Upon arrival at Jeddah International Airport, explore Al-Balad, Jeddah’s historic old town and a UNESCO World Heritage site. With over 1,400 years of history, it was a key hub for merchants and pilgrims traveling to Mecca. Walk through narrow cobblestone streets lined with ancient coral stone houses, featuring the famous wooden balconies called rawashin, showcasing traditional Islamic architecture.
Visit Bait Matbouli, one of the best-preserved historic houses in Al-Balad, now a museum displaying traditional furniture, objects, and architectural details. Return to the hotel for rest. Overnight stay in Jeddah.
Day 2: Jeddah – Transfer to Medina – Mount Uhud – Ethiq Well & Garden – Medina
After breakfast, transfer to the holy city of Medina. Visit Mount Uhud, the site of the famous Battle of Uhud in 625 AD, led by the Prophet Muhammad against the Quraysh of Mecca. Continue to Ethiq Well & Garden, a serene spot connected to Islamic history and the life of the Prophet. Transfer to the hotel in Medina. Overnight stay in Medina.
Day 3: Medina – Transfer to AlUla – Elephant Rock – Free Evening – AlUla
After breakfast, travel to AlUla, a region of breathtaking landscapes and rich history. Visit Elephant Rock and stroll through AlUla Old Town, a maze of adobe streets reflecting traditional life. End the day at Al Jadida, a vibrant area combining art, culture, and modern spaces. Overnight stay in AlUla.
Day 4: Al Ula - Dadan & Jabal Ikmah - Old Town & Al Jadidah - Elephant Roch - AlUla Overnight
After breakfast, discover the ancient wonders of AlUla on this unforgettable day. Begin at Dadan, the ancient capital of the Lihyanite and Dadanite kingdoms, and then visit Jabal Ikmah, an open-air library of rock inscriptions and carvings that tell the stories of civilizations from thousands of years ago. Explore the Old Town of AlUla, a maze of adobe streets reflecting traditional life, and the vibrant Al Jadidah district, where culture, art, and modern spaces come together. Finally, marvel at the iconic Elephant Rock, a natural sandstone formation shaped over centuries amidst the serene desert landscape. Return to AlUla resort for an overnight stay.
Day 5: AlUla – Transfer to Tabuk by car – Tabuk Castle – Tabuk
After breakfast, depart from AlUla and enjoy a scenic drive north to the historic city of Tabuk. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Tabuk Castle, a landmark steeped in history and local heritage. Take some time to wander the surrounding area and experience the charm of Tabuk’s old town and local culture. Conclude the day with a relaxing evening in the city and overnight stay in Tabuk.
Day 6: Tabuk – Jabal Al-Lawz – Split Rock – Madian Tombs – Tabuk
After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Jabal Al-Lawz, the highest peak in the Tabuk region. Explore the mountain’s rugged landscape and discover ancient inscriptions and rock art that tell stories of civilizations long past. Some traditions even associate this mountain with the historic Mount Sinai.
Then, visit the iconic Split Rock, a natural geological wonder shaped over centuries, perfect for photos and short hikes. Continue to the Madian Tombs, ancient burial sites linked to the people of Midian, offering a fascinating glimpse into the region’s rich history. Evening: Return to Tabuk for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Tabuk – Flight to Riyadh – Diriyah – Riyadh Boulevard – Riyadh
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight from Tabuk to Riyadh, the vibrant capital of Saudi Arabia. Upon arrival, explore the historic Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the original home of the Saudi royal family, known for its stunning mud-brick architecture and cultural significance. Continue to Riyadh Boulevard, a modern hub of dining, shopping, and entertainment, offering a perfect blend of contemporary lifestyle and local charm. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Riyadh.
Day 8: Riyadh – Masmak Palace – Al Zal Market – National Museum – Riyadh International Airport
After breakfast, visit Masmak Palace, a mud-brick fortress built in 1865 and now a museum showcasing Saudi unification. Explore Al Zal Market, a traditional souq with spices, handicrafts, and textiles. Visit the National Museum of Saudi Arabia with interactive exhibits tracing the country’s history from pre-Islamic times to the modern era. Transfer to Riyadh International Airport for your departure flight.
